The plot currently happening is taking place in the turbulence of revolutionary Paris. Now that you're all here, we're going to start doing 'update' posts giving you an idea of what's going in in Paris, that your characters can react to with logs and network posts. We'll also have some plotting options going up today.

GAME GOALS: What I'd really like to start on is CR that can eventually build into a potential Master and Servant relationship. Siegfried's trust in mages is really fragile at this point- after basically being denied to even speak by his previous Master (not to mention I'm going to have eventually learn of his Master beating a child), it's going to take time and work on both ends for him to repair that trust. An ideal Master would be someone who would not only support him (because lord, his issues are a mess), but also push him when he needs it. It'd take a good amount of time and effort, but it's definitely doable!

PLOT PLANS: Other than having him on base and finding out who his new roommate is, I'm pretty open for the month!

DESIRED CR: See above in GAME GOALS for my main CR that I'd love to get, but really, I'm open to anything! Siegfried is very much a bleeding heart- he'll want to help anyone who asks him to help, he has incredible patience with people (to the point you want to shake him and say JUST PUNCH THIS ASSHOLE ALREADY), and he does everything he can to show kindness or act as a hero of justice. It's his thing. Bully him, become friends with him, tease him for his old knightly ways, go nuts!

GAME GOALS: 76 is here in kind of a bad spot. tl;dr he helped end the robot war, ran a peacekeeping operation for 20 years, was betrayed, blown up, and is now a rage-fueled revenge machine out to uncover THE CONSPIRACY (check out his app for further reading). Being part of COST is forcibly broadening his scope. Without all the fancy experimental equipment he stole from the government and sort of make him rely on his own abilities and know-how (which are not necessarily insubstantial--he is Old but he's also a Captain America-style super soldier), while learning how to function as part of a team again.

He's also an avid conspiracy theorist and isn't entirely sold on this. Following orders is something he's good at, but with a blank in his memory about how he even joined this thing, he can't rule out kidnapping or weird simulations or even whether or not COST is the good guys. Maybe he'll get to dig around in that sandbox a little bit. We'll sseeeee.

PLOT PLANS: 76 is still really pissed off that he's been kidnapped away from his sniper wifle former SIC and all of the Very Important Conspiracy Things they were doing. Since the first two missions were on his world, he's also secretly panicking about the timeline screwing that's already happened and he MIGHT have some Words if he finds out that SOME PEOPLE saved the queen and her kids.

Other than that, he tends to do best when he throws himself into the thick of things, and is already pretty invested in making sure no one is a liability. Everyone come meet your new dad, if your dad was not very nice and also all his dadly advice is about how to fight things. Once on base, he'll re-up his offer for hand-to-hand lessons if anyone is interested in *~*~*sparring*~*~*.

DESIRED CR: I want everything, but as I expect a lot of his initial encounters to be on the slightly antagonistic side (he’s grumpy), I’d love to try and seek out people he might get along with or tolerate, too. He’s a hardcore military-type and will probably do well with other hardcore military-types, mercenaries, or fellow professionals, if only because they might *~*~*understand each other*~*~*. Most neutral encounters will probably be awkward because he’s awkward, mitigated by the fact that fighting wars is kind of what he Knows and he'll be a little more willing to impart his knowledge, but that’s okay because I love awkward. THROW WHATEVER AT ME FOR NOW I CAN TAKE IT.
