Mix and mingle and maybe wear your seatbelt, because this month is gonna be a ride. This CR meme is probably especially useful for touching base with CR that's gone off in other groups, so here's the spot to keep track of each other.

NAME: This is SOLDIER: 76 from
CANON: OVERWATCH

GAME GOALS: 76 is here in kind of a bad spot. tl;dr he helped end the robot war, ran a peacekeeping operation for 20 years, was betrayed, blown up, and is now a rage-fueled revenge machine out to uncover THE CONSPIRACY (check out his app for further reading). Being part of COST is forcibly broadening his scope. Without all the fancy experimental equipment he stole from the government, he has to rely solely on his own abilities and know-how (which are not necessarily insubstantial--he is Old but he's also a Captain America-style super soldier) while learning how to function as part of a team again.

He's also an avid conspiracy theorist and isn't entirely sold on this. Following orders is something he's good at, but with a blank in his memory about how he even joined this thing, he can't rule out kidnapping or weird simulations or even whether or not COST is the good guys. He's learning a little but he's well aware that he's only receiving information from COST in this department. Maybe he'll keep digging around in that sandbox.

PLOT PLANS: 76 is continually pissed off that he's been kidnapped away from his former SIC and all of the Very Important Conspiracy Things they were doing. This is now the third mission that's taken place on his world, so he's kind of anxious about that. DON'T SCREW UP THE TIMELINE he's starting to get mad.

He's already lived through a pretty horrific war and he's a gr8 compartmentalizer, so he's taking Gallipoli in stride and is generally more concerned with the rest of you. He tends to do best when he throws himself into the thick of things, is pretty invested in making sure no one is a liability, and is definitely ready to chew people out if they do something stupid or endangering. Everyone come meet your new dad, if your dad was not very nice and also all his dadly advice is about how to fight things. If anyone needs any lessons about guns or fighting or punching or War, or you want to talk War Philosophy for some reason, he is your guy.

76 is also in Group 1 for the HRHR mission, so if anyone in groups 1 or 2 wants to do something with that, let's talk! I'm putting up a plotting comment soon, but I'm looking to organize some dugout securing, some supply runs, and some escort missions and also maybe fighting the Regency a little bit.

DESIRED CR: I want everything, but as I expect a lot of his initial encounters to be on the slightly antagonistic side (he’s grumpy), I’d love to try and seek out people he might get along with or tolerate, too. He’s a hardcore military-type and will probably do well with other hardcore military-types, mercenaries, or fellow professionals, if only because they might *~*~*understand each other*~*~*. I'm especially looking to buddy him up with fellow adults. Most neutral encounters will probably be awkward because he’s awkward, mitigated by the fact that fighting wars is kind of what he Knows and he'll be a little more willing to impart his knowledge, but that’s okay because I love awkward.

Hi! A few things pinged me here. Firstly conspiracies. Second, military types. Merlin is not one, but he gets along with them fine enough. He's pretty much immune to grump and feels actually more comfortable when there is some present. (Blame his father who is the military type.)

Adults being adults and maybe good conversations about never ending conflict?

Merlin is in group 2, so if you'd be interested in doing something during the mission, that'd be great!
