Mix and mingle and maybe wear your seatbelt, because this month is gonna be a ride. This CR meme is probably especially useful for touching base with CR that's gone off in other groups, so here's the spot to keep track of each other.

The following template is just a rubric to give you ideas of what to post; it's not mandatory at all! Feel free to leave categories off if needed, or add your own!

We're in the middle of Gallipoli, with a wrap-up planned for the end of the month. Feel free to plot your character's role in the current mission, discuss how they're dealing with the setting, demand your CR be a little less reckless (lol), and whatever else you need.

NAME: Kat
CONTACT: plurk, discord, or PMs all work just fine
TAGGING HABITS: slow on average; fairly steady during weekdays once daily/every other day. I try to not let things go later than three days. Network stuff is much easier to boomerang. Weekends are wildcards (lately I have not been able to get any tagging done on weekends). If you ask me to prioritize something I absolutely will so don't be shy about that!

CHARACTER;

NAME: Samus Aran
CANON: Metroid

GAME GOALS: Connect with human history more. Samus was raised by alien bird people, so her getting to experience some more tangible human-focused history would be interesting. Her time in Space Military was comparatively brief, so she has missed a lot of the growing up human experience. I'd love for her to explore social/cultural nuances through missions and downtime! Also exploring Samus's conflicting feelings about working in military operations (she's extremely good at it but hates the red tape) is also always interesting. She joined COST willingly and is going to try very hard to not regret it.

PLOT PLANS:
- War sucks, this war especially sucks. She's ready to finish up the Gallipoli mission at any cost and with as minimal collateral damage as possible. She's not getting haggard per se, and if anything she seems to be increasingly in her element, but she's very Done with all this. She sincerely hopes COST's goals pay off and are being executed in the best possible manner.
- She is still like 6' something tall and buff as hell and has super human strength that she is less focused on downplaying as this war goes on. Carrying like three or four bodies at a time? She can do it. Easily clear a house in a single leap? Outrun a grizzly bear (who let a grizzly in Gallipoli)? Yeah she can do that too. Don't question it. Or maybe do.
- After the kidnappings she's going to be itching to break some Regency noses.
- idk whatever else you wanna throw at me! Build on established CR! Newbies and new CR! Miles of gagtags. Give it all to me.

DESIRED CR: ALL KINDS, but I especially enjoy slow-build relationships because Samus needs time and patience before she opens up. I also really love banter and sassing and flustering and head-butting type relations that eventually grow to begrudging acceptance or even friendship or more. She appreciates a dry sense of humor, enjoys booze and guns and working on mechanical projects. She also has a lot of outdoors survival kinds of experience and has a strong respect for animals and wildlife... if they are not trying to kill her first.

She tends to get along easier with other super soldier/mercenary/bounty hunter/not-exactly-human types and she also does a lot of training in her spare time. I also love mentor-student type relationships because Samus has a lot to teach but is terrible at teaching it. I also love parent-child relationships, Samus is surprisingly much more natural with those. Negative CR is great and I love it, though it may take extra effort to maintain with Samus since she's inclined to ignore or disengage antagonistic types unless they prove actually threatening or manage to get under her skin in the wrong way.

YES I think that would be lovely! Most of group 2 seems very competent in battle as well so I'm looking forward to see how they compliment each other.

I'd love to thread some of radio repairs too if you are up for it. I don't know at all how this is going to go but... These two sound like they might get along! I'd love to explore that. C:
