I've long since respected your optimism about change in your home country. How do you maintain that when the odds seem stacked against the direction you believe it capable of heading in?
Optimism? I've never been accused of being optimistic before, I suppose it's due to the fact that I see the redeeming qualities in my homeland, I'm aware that not everyone believes in the same tyrannical nonsense, and some things simply have to change. Change isn't easy, a strongly worded letter wouldn't do it...sometimes it takes a hand to force it. I've also been inspired by the Inquisitor who has done so much, a single individual who rose from suspicion and judgment to a seat of power where they could affect the most change. How could I do anything less?

But I follow your answer. You have wisdom much, much beyond your years, you know.
