absolutely, let's work on some more CR- it sounds really great to have that happen. i hope that Chiron can teach him how to mend bones, care for wounds- that sort of stuff. he's not the best at it yet, but if it means lives are on the line, then he's absolutely going to do his damnedest to save them

Chiron definitely will, he just has to be asked! And there will probably be a decent amount of medical improv since /gestures at trench warfare etc., which is a skill in and of itself.

i think i can figure out how to make that happen- they had that thread in Paris where Chiron was helping people out. maybe i can have ryuji inbox you some questions about what he should be doing in their next mission, since the training clearly indicates that they're going to war- and it'll lead to him wanting to help out and be a stretcher bearer? i'm sure that he'll have a ton of questions about different what-ifs

Yes, that sounds like a good start! Chiron can definitely start there, and develop a totally quick curriculum (and determine what's just gonna be hands on learning.)

i like it! look for ryuji all up in your inbox in the days to come, then. should we handwave a little and say that they've seen each other at least once or twice in passing back at BASE? enough to at least know each other's contact IDs?

also re: learning- i'm pretty sure he has a bit of adhd (there's a good deal of proof in the canon regarding his behavior and learning style/capability). just a heads up, since it's kind of a big thing that he needs some help getting over... concentration in general. his heart's absolutely in it though. he wants to learn this stuff as quickly as possible so that he can at least be useful here.
