WELCOME TO AGOGE'S NEWEST CR MEME, where you can get your plot on for the still ongoing final IC log (and TDM) and maybe discuss some hypotheticals for when you get to BASE. Or maybe you just have a cool purchase you want to share!

The following template is a rubric to give you ideas of what to post; it's not mandatory at all! Feel free to leave categories off if needed, or add your own.

We're at the very end of Gallipoli, before characters return to BASE. An OOC post for BASE will be available in two days, but it'll be another week before characters are called back (OOC; it'll go much more quickly from an IC perspective and you'll only be aboard the Marie Antoinette for a day or so). This is so we don't pile two logs on you at once.

But, in anticipation for the time-step, you all have something very particular waiting for you back at BASE (which veterans will remember from their last visit):

Roommates.

These are subject to change before BASE, depending on apps and drops, but it shouldn't be much. So check out your capsule assignments below and hopefully y'all get along. 👌

TAGGING HABITS: I am... sort of sporadic at the moment. My time is really juggled between work and home and everything else, but I follow EST and try to tag back relatively quickly. At times I do let tags sit for a while, but I backtag into forever.

CHARACTER;
NAME: Siegfried
CANON: fate/Apocrypha

GAME GOALS: Siegfried had a Master halfway through Gallipoli, but upon returning to BASE he's going to find out that she's... well. Gone. Meaning he's back to being Masterless and therefore has to find ways to conserve mana until he stops being a dumbass and stops thinking there's something wrong with him finds a new Master. So, obviously, my major goal is to find someone who he can trust enough to make a contract with and not have to worry about fading away. He's been partially burned by having his canon Master be an ass, and now with his second Master disappearing; so he's fighting against a lot of feelings of thinking he might be the cause for things not working out.

He'll need a mage or someone with a good chunk of mana- he's a Saber class and also has immortality, meaning he takes a lot of it just by simply existing. I definitely think he'd go for someone relatively soon, though! Gallipoli taught him a lesson, in a sense.

PLOT PLANS: My major plans are for him to set up a training of sorts or a way to teach others how to use a sword sometime on the downtime on BASE. Training for guns was given for the time, but Siegfried really just needs to find something to do to ease out his irritation and frustration during Gallipoli (usually he'd just blow up stuff on a bottle mission but he has no Master, so that's out of the question). Teaching others (and having people spar him or ask him for a spar he'll gladly accept but probably not give his all, sorry my dudes he doesn't want to kill you) will help him focus and concentrate immensely.

As for anything else, I'm really open. He's got a lot of conflicting feelings on enacting justice since being in Gallipoli, and I'd love for him to eventually come to an acceptance that it can't always be done, and for him to be okay with that. He's grown so much from this last mission, and I want to continue that, despite the setbacks of losing his Master.

DESIRED CR: ANYTHING, I MEAN IT. Siegfried's very easy to get along with, very easy to talk with, even easier to bully. You'd think for a guy who looks like he could tear someone in two, he'd actually have a spine- but NOPE. Poor guy's got self-esteem issues out the wazoo and no sense of self-worth. His outlook is very much accepting of everything that happens to him, so much so that he never tries to fight against it. So feel free to teach him, yell at him, push him around. He won't always take it, but most of the time, he will.

He is the epitome of "a good man who just wants to protect everyone and is too kind for his own good."

I'm not necessarily offering Samus as a Master since I think they need a little more CR build up and trust first between the both of them, BUT! I think Samus would find the whole idea of pacts and mana use very interesting. I am also very canonblind so it sounds like fun way to learn!

That's perfectly fine! Siegfried is definitely the type to be like... really cautious about getting a Master anyway because the one he had in Apocrypha basically... forbade him from speaking. Like, at all. His Master was also stupid as hell and nearly humiliated Siegfried in battle, so! I think once he got to know Samus enough he'd be comfortable talking with her about the whole shindig, and I definitely can see her being interested in it. And I love talking about it ICly so it can definitely be a thing to learn. c:

Sieg no that sucks, you deserve better! She'd probably liken the idea to how her Power Suit is summoned, which she's also cautious talking about in detail so I think they'll be on the same wavelength there.

He always deserves better but honestly the poor guy is a behemoth and has no backbone. :') He also apologizes way too much.

That is super relatable, though, and I definitely think they can find similarities! I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes.

Siegfried will gladly meet Thor! And also... really... quietly nerd about it, I'm so sorry. He's a Heroic Spirit himself, but he really has a fondness for lore and legends, so he's kind of like a book in that sort of thing.

He would absolutely enjoy sparring with him, tbqh.
