WELCOME TO AGOGE'S NEWEST CR MEME, where you can get your plot on. The BASE and training logs both still qualify as live. And, of course, there's the small matter of hypotheticals for when we get to Jhashch. Share your hierarchy standing, worry about arachnophobia, and say any goodbyes you may have to Bob. Or, uh, if you wrecked anything.

The following template is a rubric to give you ideas of what to post; it's not mandatory at all! Feel free to leave categories off if needed, or add your own.

TAGGING HABITS: I try to tag once every day or two, though sometimes that gets interrupted and sometimes I'm free to boomerang. I will backtag forever.

CHARACTER;

NAME: Natasha Romanov
CANON: The Universe formerly known as Marvel 616

GAME GOALS: Natasha is a very mission-focused character and I'm really interested in the mission aspects of the game, as well as the personal fallout that comes from being mission-focused, paranoid, and distrusting in general. She's from the end of her most recent series, the Samnee/Waid stuff, and pre-Secret Empire.

PLOT PLANS: She's a badass normal/servant-class type so well suited to keep a low profile in SPIDERTOWN, and will want to do use that low profile to sneak around. Also is beginning to regret her lifelong use of spider imagery in her personal #brand. This is awkward.

DESIRED CR: For the current plot: other fellow normals to be unassuming with, yknow, also maybe an enhanced person to follow around obediently, &c &c. In general Natasha is a serious, practical person with a methodical outlook and very dry sense of humor, so people who are similarly results oriented and people who are gonna clash with that approach are both really welcome!

TAGGING HABITS: TRYING MY BEST...my sister got married this weekend, still scraping together my will to live

CHARACTER;

NAME: William
CANON: Westworld

GAME GOALS: If you're canon familiar, William's from pretty early on in the show (ep five); if you're not, he's a guy who recently discovered his backbone (while at a Wild West theme park, long story) and is currently trying to Be A Good Person and Do The Right Thing. I'm very interested to see where his time with COST takes him—he's not at all prepared for the horrors of war™ and his experiences in game will have a huge impact on the person he becomes.

(Eventually, I'd like to dig into metaplot stuff, but for now he'll probably just be poking around the edges trying to figure out what the fuck is going on.)

PLOT PLANS: Don't die? Don't die. His number one priority will be protecting Dolores (is he equipped to do this? AHAHAHAHAHA), so he'll stick with her regardless of mission objectives. William's good with anything detail oriented, so etiquette, names and ranks, the language—he'll be on top of that. He'd probably be decent for intel gathering and could be persuaded to try to help sabotage the Regency since literally nothing about him is gonna impress the spiders.

He's in the natural category—if any of you magical types want to pair up, he would FEEL REALLY BAD ABOUT YOU GETTING EATEN which I hear goes a long way. Or if one of the artificial types wants a “servant”...he's a pretty good choice tbh.

DESIRED CR: Hey everyone, meet your weakest link! William has no powers, very little combat experience, and intense reservations about killing. That said, he's not untrainable, it's just...gonna take a pretty big leap of faith on someone's part. William's at his most interesting when he's being challenged in some way (which the upcoming mission should be great for ahahahaahah help)—whether it's morally, philosophically, fucking deck him it's fine. Otherwise he's still inclined to default to bland agreeableness and nobody wants a 200 comment thread about the weather.

Specific stuff I'm after:

- ASSHOLES. Do you want someone to provoke (might take some work but v rewarding in the long run)? Do you want to be judged by perhaps laughably irrelevant moral standards? DO YOU ENJOY KICKING PEOPLE WHEN THEY'RE DOWN now is your time to shine. I love (no, like love) negative CR, with the one caveat that there needs to be some kind of trajectory—it can be positive or negative, as long as the relationship progresses.

- Someone with the patience of a goddamn saint (ok not really he's a fairly quick study) to teach and/or corrupt him—I really like the idea of him having a mentor (though obviously that'd take some time to develop) and he honestly does have potential.

- Anyone in the midst of an existential crisis. What up.

- Robots. Disclaimer: you will not be his favorite robot.

- Handwaved Gallipoli things—he was there but I was super late to the tdm. It's totally feasible for someone to have saved his ass, if you want to jumpstart some CR that way.

Morrigan seems like a prime candidate to be unimpressed/frustrated/whatever. She hasn't done anything morally questionable yet but that could change if our spider hosts have cool magical stuff. Since she was using magic freely at the end of Gallipoli she could've attracted his attention or helped him out at some point, maybe not even intentionally.

She's also secretly having the closest thing to a personal crisis she's gonna have for another decade, so I mean. Maybe she wouldn't be bad for him to deal with all the time.

We could do little buddy system stuff in spiderland since he's an average joe?

A lot of her showier magic is complicated by nullifiers, but everything she would've cast on the beach would've made her hands glow briefly and/or would've been accompanied by a telltale hand gesture. He may have had haste cast on him at some point to speed him up temporarily? because she was pretty generous with that, trying to get people down the beach. And she shapeshifted into a bear once to tear through some Regency dudes so there's that.
