LETS BE FRIENDS.

the future is unwritten.
know your rights.

WELCOME TO AGOGE! This is the place you guys can announce yourselves and your new characters before the official IC log goes up! Plot and plan or just say hi!

The following template is just a rubric to give you ideas of what to post; it's not mandatory at all! Feel free to leave categories off if needed, or add your own!

NAME: Who are you?
CONTACT: Where are you?
TIMEZONE: When are you?
CHARACTER: Who's that pokemon?
CANON: Are they ghost type?
GAME GOALS: Do you have any overall plans in game?
PLOT PLANS: Anything you're looking forward to in the next mission?
DESIRED CR: CR your character meshes well with? CR you can provide others?
ANYTHING ELSE? This is where the gifs go.

The plot going up tomorrow will begin in France 1792, in the middle of September, just before the Revolution really kicks off. Combat will be highlighted, as well as morale-boosting and charisma, not to mention a little spycraft and stealth. The first log, going up tomorrow, will be focused on preparing for battle and getting to know the terrain; the actual battle will be later in the month.

In the meanwhile, feel free to peruse the setting infopage!

They only showed 3 of the Sand Snakes and they were incredibly irritating. Ellaria became vengeful about Oberyn's death and poisoned Myrcella (who was older in the show). I will say that I think the show got back on track for the most part in S6 and a lot of people think 6x09 and 6x10 are pretty much the two best episodes of the series, with the possible exception of 5x08, Hardhome. So if you ever feel tempted, just pick up at 6x01, which coincidentally starts where A Dance with Dragons ends, at least for both Jon and Dany. (Varys's stuff is totally different, because they cut the Fake Aegon storyline.)

It's true! I based Jon's personality section partly on the fact that he kind of desperately wants to find a place in the world and to not feel like an outsider, and every time he starts to manage it, a bunch of people promote him to a leadership role. You know how in the books he explicitly feels like he'll never have friends again after they make him Lord Commander.

I don't think shacking up in the woods with San and being like a partial citizen of Irontown would be that bad, actually. After all that it kind of sounds like a happy ending for Ashitaka.

MMMMMMMMMMM... honestly, I think I will pass (mostly because I'm stubborn and prideful)... HOPEFULLY one day GRRM will actually release the next book in the series and I will see what is true and what is televised fanfiction. I am pretty interested in Jon and Dany, though... I've been waiting for that meeting for so long.

Yeah, that's so true. ): Hopefully COST won't promote him to a leadership position too soon so he can actually make some friends again.

IT'S... about as good as he can wish for. There's a fairly worrying quote in the interview about Ashitaka's dual perspective on both humanity and the forest and how they sort of struggle against one another (“[he] has no choice but to suffer and live, while being torn between such conflicts”), but hey, he's a pretty tough guy and the possible wolf princess girlfriend probably helps . . .

That's really not a terrible choice for people who were frustrated by the changes. I think the major thing that really saved the show for me, aside from Hardhome coming when I was just about to give it up (after the way Sansa and Shireen were handled and the general terribleness of the Dorne storyline), was finding S6 Jon absolutely fascinating because he just goes pretty much about as dark as he's ever going to go. (Blah blah blah I like psychological journeys, people who are very conflicted, etc etc blah blah blah.)

In my brain fanfic, Ashitaka is totally doing OK. But in game, he and Jon can totally fight side by side. This is going to be cool!

I've been working my way through Sanderson's books in the meantime (with the 3rd Stormlight book coming out next month...), so I can be patient.

But yeah, I love characters with journeys like that also. Ashitaka... is actually probably the least morally-gray character I've played in quite a while. But yes, my brain fanfic is similar (they all deserve some peace after all of that), but YES, I can't wait!
