The plot going up tomorrow will begin in France 1792, in the middle of September, just before the Revolution really kicks off. Combat will be highlighted, as well as morale-boosting and charisma, not to mention a little spycraft and stealth. The first log, going up tomorrow, will be focused on preparing for battle and getting to know the terrain; the actual battle will be later in the month.

PLOT PLANS: i'm a big nerd for the french revolution, so anything and everything is a++ for me. specifically i want midnighter to have to deal with a populace that is super idealistic about the future; midnighter himself is very pro-normal people, so dealing with that will be interesting. likewise his lack of a knowledge of history will make some choice features of the revolution a complete fucking surprise for him.
DESIRED CR: well heres his canon grindr profile. more seriously, midnighter gets along well with: kids, idealists, fellow fighters and fellow assholes. he's antagonistic but it takes a lot for him to really dislike someone. at worst he'll just decide you're his 'nemesister' and flirt with you aggressively (if you're a guy. girls just get dbag behavior, sorry everybody).

GAME GOALS: Yoshitsugu is an excellent strategist on both smaller and larger scales, but it's a skill of his I've never really the chance to utilise much in RP. This game, however, looks ideal for it! Aside from that it'll be interesting to see how travelling through time and the like messes with his perception of 'the flow of things' and if it has any impact on his personal philosophy.

He'll also be finding out his super close friend Takatora comes from a time where Yoshitsugu is dead at some point, which will be fun! For him, not Takatora.

PLOT PLANS: For this upcoming one, nothing specific yet, but I am eager to throw Yoshitsugu into things. Coming from a time way before 1792 and a place quite far away from it to boot, he has no idea what he's in for... well. What he won't work out with his excellent foresight, anyway.

DESIRED CR: There's no CR I am completely against. Yoshitsugu is drawn to people he considers 'pure' and enjoys teasing them and looking out for them both (while the people in question often feel like he is the one who needs protecting). Idealistic and emotional sorts can impress and move him despite his own practical and logical way of seeing things. Almost anyone will get some kind of commentry from him and he is incredibly blunt about his opinions too. So if you want your muse who is easily angered by insults or, well, blunt statements about their failures and inadequacies to get really pissed off, he's your man!

GAME GOALS: 76 is coming here in kind of a bad spot. tl;dr he helped end the robot war, ran a peacekeeping operation for 20 years, was betrayed, blown up, and is now a rage-fueled revenge machine out to uncover THE CONSPIRACY (check out his app for further reading). Being part of COST is going to forcibly broaden his scope. I'm very excited to get him functioning without all the fancy experimental equipment he stole from the government and sort of make him rely on his own abilities and know-how (which are not necessarily insubstantial--he is Old but he's also a Captain America-style super soldier), while learning how to function as part of a team again.

He's also an avid conspiracy theorist and isn't entirely sold on this. Following orders is something he's good at, but with a blank in his memory about how he even joined this thing, he can't rule out kidnapping or weird simulations or even whether or not COST is the good guys. Maybe he'll get to dig around in that sandbox a little bit. We'll sseeeee.

PLOT PLANS: WHEN DO WE GET REAL GUNS......76 is, again, here without any of his equipment so he's going to continue missing his bigass gun that he stole from the government, and he's also really pissed off that he's been kidnapped away from his sniper wifle former SIC and all of the Very Important Conspiracy Things they were doing. Other than that, he does well when he just throws himself headfirst into the thick of it and doesn't think about stuff like the space-time continuum, so he'll be finding something to keep him occupied, like making sure nobody on the team is an obvious liability. Everyone come meet your new dad, if your dad was not very nice and also all his dadly advice is about how to fight things. For the first part, at least, I'm interested in getting him settled in, meeting people, coming to terms with the fact that this is Real.

I also didn't get to touch as many of you on the TDM as I would have liked, so I am also very excited for that. Wiggles fingers.

DESIRED CR: I want everything, but as I expect a lot of his initial encounters to be on the slightly antagonistic side (he’s grumpy), I’d love to try and seek out people he might get along with or tolerate, too. He’s a hardcore military-type and will probably do well with other hardcore military-types, mercenaries, or fellow professionals, if only because they might *~*~*understand each other*~*~*. Most neutral encounters will probably be awkward because he’s awkward, mitigated by the fact that fighting wars is kind of what he Knows and he'll be a little more willing to impart his knowledge, but that’s okay because I love awkward. THROW WHATEVER AT ME FOR NOW I CAN TAKE IT.

DESIRED CR: I am legit excited about all cr Morrigan could possibly develop. I dig cr with push and pull, give and take, and I'd love for her to learn to trust more people and discover that there are those who can learn to fully trust her too, which is kinda sorta a sore point at the moment thanks to the world state I've given her. She's also always fun to contrast with more lawful good types.

GAME GOALS: To be very cruel to him... BUT MOSTLY, even though I yanked him out of his canon sort of right before everything got resolved (whoops), I plan to have him set out to do something similar. Though he's a part of COST, he will try his best to function as independently as possible, trying to understand what is happening first so that he could make a decision on how he thinks would best steer it away from violence and destruction (and whether that decision is right or in-line with COST's requests will be up in the air...). I want to see how prolonged conflict would have an affect on him, how much he will fight to stay true to who he is now or if he would ever change. I also like developing characters with limited amounts of canon, so I'm very much looking forward to that as well. He's fairly serious throughout the film, but he has moments of slight doofiness and I hope there will be points to capitalize on this hidden, valuable quality!!
PLOT PLANS: Well, culture shock is going to hit him like a truck. Ashitaka was a little out of his element simply in a Japanese village different from the one he grew up in the film, so a whole different time and country is going to be a lot. Adjusting to that, learning about what's going on (since he will have no idea about any of these historical events), trying to understand the conflict, and thinking on what to do are going to be his primary goals.
DESIRED CR: I will be doing my damnedest to tag with as many people as humanly possible while the game is so close-knit, buuut... People who will be patient with him and his questions and help him get caught up on cultural and historical stuff would be great! He's a serious kid with a very set moral code, so anyone who will poke and prod at that would be fun... but in all seriousness I am just excited for everything and everyone and bring it on!!! c:

No seriously; I'm personally stoked for this game because it's one that seems to be tailor made for Drogo. I really want to focus on him getting up in rank as a ruthless barbarian pretty much--and I definitely want him to butt heads as to the morality of war. Drogo sees nothing wrong with slavery, or anything of the sort. I can't wait for him to struggle with other cultures, too, especially the high tech stuff.
PLOT PLANS: Someone please tell him it's not okay to just behead everyone that he comes into contact with... I haven't thought too much about plot plans, though it's most likely the same as my game ones so far--France is going to be interesting. He also definitely has to reunite with his wife and the weird other dude from his world.
DESIRED CR: Someone to teach him how to do shit like read without wounding his pride as a warlord, someone he can show his culture to. Negative CR is going to happen of course, but I'm not going to seek it out specifically just yet, it'll inevitably come.

PLOT PLANS: To get her as involved as possible. She'll be a fish out of water in the 1790s, and I'm really looking forward to playing with that. I'd also like her to fire a musket at least once. Beyond that, I'm basically winging it!

DESIRED CR: Challenge her! Please. Present her with alternate points of view; she's far from perfect, and still holds some biases she learned in isolation on Themyscira. Actually, I'm good with any sort of CR for the most part. She can teach someone how to fight in her style, or learn from someone else in turn.

GAME GOALS: I'd like to really mess him up. Not that he isn't messed up already, but even more than that. On a more serious note, I want to personally become more well-versed with DW RP since I'm fairly new to this whole deal (though I think I'm getting the hang of it pretty quick!), agoge just so happened to be doing a test drive at the time my friend was showing me around and I quickly came to like it. I'm looking forward to all this.
PLOT PLANS: I'm a big sucker for European history, especially around the Victorian era and going into WWI. Eren hails from a series set right in there which is why I quite enjoy messing around in that period. As far as the current stage goes, I feel like while everyone else is screwing around killing each other, I'm going to have Eren find some rudimentary form of baseball being played in the fields of France and play ball. As well as somehow coming to resent the French because, you know, he's German-ish. Oh, and I also want him to fashion a really shitty peg leg that breaks every time he gets into a fight.
DESIRED CR: Anyone that he can banter with or get bullied by is nice. I've really got nothing else I can think of...besides maybe someone who can laugh at him for being a filthy hobo.

JON SNOW | GAME OF THRONES | ELIZABETH

You're welcome to add me on Plurk, but I have to admit that I'm not mega-active there: I usually just pop in a few times a day, so pinging me is a good idea if there's something I should see. I plurk about all kinds of things (books, music, media, rl, rp, nail polish, unicorns, and less about fandom than a lot of people do) but try to keep it low-key.
TIMEZONE: EST, but I'm a night owl.

CHARACTER: Jon Snow
CANON: Game of Thrones (show, plus extra flavor from the books).
GAME GOALS: It's hard to say at the start, but in general, Jon is experienced… but maybe not as experienced as he needs to be to go up against the Army of the Dead once and for all in canon (I mean: they have a zombie ice dragon now), so he'd be interested in picking up new tactics, strategies, and fighting styles. He's also going to be wondering a bit about what his network ID means, and worrying a lot about the safety of his favorite person in the world (he won't be alone in that).
PLOT PLANS: Jon's horse and sword experience means he would be ok cavalry, but his lack of gun experience means he might not, so he's most likely going to be a farmer. I may honestly decide this on the basis of what other people do with similar characters. In the case of this particular plot… while he's not IC-ly aware of it, it seems pretty likely at this point that he'll wind up on the Iron Throne in canon if he doesn't get killed in the Great War. He's learned to be pretty sympathetic to people who didn't grow up with his advantages (a medieval noble's lifestyle and education), and he's even been enough of a "man of the people" to get stabbed for it (he died and was resurrected, it was This Whole Big Thing, ask him about his scars so he can get weird and refuse to answer!), but more interaction with or observation of average peasants under an exploitative economic system couldn't hurt. If he ever does reign, it's not going to be like the 18th century French monarchy.
Also, speaking of that whole "got murdered by his own men for showing compassion to people they thought of as their enemies" thing, he's going to be so unhappy to not have chest armor.
DESIRED CR: Well, we're all new, so almost anything is cool. Strategic stuff, discussing each other's worlds, missions, battles, training attempts, you name it. His TDM threads were golden, so let's continue that CR too, please! (If I owe you a tag, it's because I've had a bad cold for a bit here.) The only stuff I typically opt out of is stuff that seems OOC, or not-fun in a long-term way.

GAME GOALS: Being summoned to other historical eras is kind of what the conceit of Chiron's parent franchise is, so popping up here and there is totally something Chiron would expect. What I'd like to do is use the settings to explore his own moral center more, as well as test the calm demeanor he usually projects.
PLOT PLANS: I'd really like to expose Chiron to the various forms of revolutionary thought that were going on at the time, as well as the propaganda spread by both sides. The anti-royalist stuff is fascinating, and also includes some of the nastiest insults I've run into. Description of the Royal Menagerie springs to mind. He'll probably be of best use with treating injuries.
DESIRED CR: The dread and generic "anything" applies here, especially since there's no way to tell where the heck relationships are likely to go. Chiron has a tendency to stay in teacher mode, which could be a good or bad thing, but I'd also like to attempt to get him to actually relax.

GAME GOALS: Well, she's going to be completely ignorant to any history, so that'll be fun! I’d love to throw her into situations that make her uncomfortable and reflect on who she is, what she wants, and why she wants to protect others. I also want her to re-learn that trusting others is not a bad thing, that not everyone will betray her, and that maintaining the stoic facade of a queen is good sometimes, just not all the time. So basically make her super uncomfortable and come to rely more on herself vs dragons, sell-swords, and armies (which she will have none of). Also, eventual development of tolerance around magic (realizing that not every witch or warlock is a royal dick).

PLOT PLANS: Could be cool to have her rally the troops, maybe get some political alliances going... since she's convinced that she was kidnapped and is going to demand she's sent home. Don't have too many long term plot plans yet, just because I want to get a feel for the game, first.

GAME GOALS: OKAY SO... Jacob pretty much tries to help/do things his way in canon, and screws everything up really badly djflk. I took him right at his lowest point (ikr... I'm a jerk), so he's 1. angry with his twin sister, Evie, to the point he doesn't want to work with her anymore, 2. frustrated with how much he's screwed up, 3. unsure about his ideals, 4. is kind of wary of getting emotionally attached to people/working in teams. I want to see if he develops even more than at the end of the game. I'd like him to eventually talk out some of his problems with a friend. If he can... make friends. Also he's had Evie around his entire life, so it's going to be... tough without her here. But I'd like him to develop relationships with people if he can, and for him to understand himself better.
PLOT PLANS: Yeah, Jacob didn't pay attention in history lessons. BUT I'd be interested in all categories really. Stealth and combat especially, but I'm also really interested in morale boosting and charisma. But guns please c: also blades. Also he wants to talk to the Commander. Probably more exploring as to why they're here, training to fight, actual fighting, stealth, talking to people and trying to get allies.
DESIRED CR: Fighters, assassins, overly serious people to poke, children?, not so serious people, drinking buddies... Really, I'm up for anything!

GAME GOALS: Kate's far more used to futuristic/alien/superpower type situations, so being thrown back into history will be a fun new experience! I'm also excited to test superhero ethics and vigilante style against actual military situations and structures.
PLOT PLANS: Generally Kate probably fits best in the combat or stealth/spy type roles, but I haven't decided yet if she's going to cross-dress and attempt to go military here or just blend in with the civilians and maybe try to root out some Regency agents in the process. She's totally in favor of common people standing up for rights and democracy and fighting for freedom, but at the same time knows how the revolution ends up in history, so that'll be a fun line to try to walk. Also just general setting stuff about being in the past, stuck in the rain, in a war, fighting with knives tied to sticks, etc.
DESIRED CR: I don't really have any concrete desires yet, but in general she'll get along best with people who are realists but choose to do good themselves anyway, are reasonably mature but don't take themselves too seriously, and aren't opposed to winging it now and then. Negative CR is most likely with people who are the opposite of the above, or who consistently patronize her for being young/female/unpowered/whatever, or are, you know. Bad guys.

GAME GOALS: Arthur is from a somewhat futuristic version of Earth and is therefore used to specific technologies. If you're not familiar with Inception, he's a dream thief. Able to go into people's dreams by use of a device called a PASIV which allows for lucid dreaming. He's able to steal information from people from there! So, going into the past and Dealing will be excellent fun. Mostly I'm here to have fun romping around in history and dragging Arthur along for the ride.
PLOT PLANS: He's very much a put together person, quick on his feet and sort of smacks of military in terms of his bearing. But, he can't put up a huge prolonged all out melee so that would fun for him to learn. Not to mention maybe becoming either a worse person (more thief) or a better person (less thief???) He's got a lot of experience with fighting, running for his life, research, firearms, being passive aggressive, and dressing extremely well.
DESIRED CR: All of it. I embrace all kinds of pain. More specificially:
- people to be friends with! who won't start screaming in his face ala Dom Cobb
- people who antagonize him (either friendly or not)
- people he can teach to be a thief
- characters interested in trying to clean him up (successfully or not)
- characters interested in gently strangling him for being a pedantic piece of garbage
