WELCOME TO AGOGE'S NEWEST CR MEME, where you can get your plot on. Jhashch is live and yours to explore and fight your way through. Just, y'know, try not to get eaten. Try to maximize your safety with your hierarchy standings, chat about any auction winnings, come up with player plots, and try not to be too upset about the loss of House Chchai. There's a lot to dig into, so here's a good place to catch up and work out where you stand!

PLOT PLANS: Arthur is a Natural, so in Spiderland that's basically like being invisible yeah??? Anyway, he's currently involved in the player plot with the house visitations and is at House Shaiy along with Genji and Sebastian. Mostly he'll be laying low and trying not to get eaten but he's not bad with politics and gossip so I'll probably throw him in that direction soon.

TAGGING HABITS: Hilariously enough, business hours lately... I tag most often during the weekdays because my weekends are usually reserved for other hobbies, but I'm usually available when a thread is on a stricter timeline!

CHARACTER;

NAME: Sebastian Michaelis

GAME GOALS:
I don't have any real goals for Sebastian just because he's a naturally apathetic character. He's old and chill, so most situations he just considers entertainment. Just Demon Things. I think it would be interesting if he got a stronger opinion on COST or the Regency, but it's something I'd let happen naturally. Otherwise, anything else kind of falls into the CR section!

PLOT PLANS:
Sebastian is living. Aranaen culture is totally his jam since it's not far off from how demons act and carry themselves, so he's doing very well (so far) in Jhashch.

For current things, he's definitely attending Shaiy's house party and seems to have done well there, and he's going to participate in arena activities! I'm really interested in participating in the Court, but Sebastian will definitely need a partner there because he's magic as hell. He can hold his own, but still probably not the best idea to chill on his own.

On the opposite end, he's also interested in participating in the stadium just for funsies. I'll probably have more plotting to do with this later once results get rolled, but you can read my general summary of what he'll do here! If you'd like an OP partner to fight with, hit me up, and assuming he doesn't get incapacitated/basically die, I'm totally up for anyone watching to be like "actually, what the fuck,". Basically, I'm flexible!

DESIRED CR:
I can basically divide my major interests here into three categories:

1. Rivals. Sebastian is definitely a capital 'd' Demon, so there are probably some characters that are wary or distrustful of that, and I absolutely love that kind of CR. It's some of my favorite CR to play with him! If you're not familiar with the series, Sebastian definitely falls into the Faustian demon category, so if a character doesn't like him, he'll tend to engage them in conversations to change their mind only for the sake of his own amusement. He's well-behaved, but he's still very much into pulling people down to his level, so people that question him are especially likely to trigger this kind of behavior. So yes, this kind of antagonistic CR is my absolute jam, so if this is up your alley, please hit me up!

2. Kind of a subpoint to the first, but characters that are curious and recognize that Sebastian is Old As Hell and knows a lot of things are fun! If they want to ask an ancient demon questions about the life, universe, and everything for free (probably), he loves the sound of his own voice and will absolutely engage in long conversations when asked. He's a natural teacher, weirdly.

3. Ooooor people that are basically already on his level in one way or another. If you're more on the amoral side of morality or are just really okay with murder and generally being a terrible person, Sebastian is here to be your chill hang. He's more likely to be honest with this type of character and is the closest thing he could have to a friend.

However! I'm totally open for CR that doesn't fall into these categories. If you have an idea for Sebastian or just want to do a thread, for real, hit me up. We'll figure something out!

CANON: OVERWATCH

GAME GOALS: 76 is here in kind of a bad spot. tl;dr he helped end the robot war, ran a peacekeeping operation for 20 years, was betrayed, blown up, and is now a rage-fueled revenge machine out to uncover THE CONSPIRACY (check out his app for further reading). Being part of COST is forcibly broadening his scope and making him learn how to be part of a team again.

He's also an avid conspiracy theorist and still isn’t entirely sold on this. With all the new information they have about the Regency, he still wants COST to be the good guys pretty badly, but he’s also pretty sure both sides screw with people’s brains.

PLOT PLANS: 76 is continually pissed off that he's been kidnapped away from his former SIC and all of the Very Important Conspiracy Things they were doing. He's got some of his former employees here now, so protecting them is going to be pretty important. They have a lot of embarrassing stories between the four of them, probably.

76's Big Spidertown Secret is that he was actually a Big Diplomat for like 20 years as part of his leading-an-international-peacekeeping-operation duty, but all of that is behind him and he kind of hates the person he used to be! He can do politics and schmoozing and talking but he would definitely prefer not to at this point. He's ARTIFICIAL on the hierarchy if you're magical and need a buddy. I'm also throwing him into the ARENA to fight and die maybe. Let me know if you're interested in a tag team.

Otherwise everyone come meet your new dad, if your dad was not very nice and also all his dadly advice is about how to fight things. If anyone needs any lessons about guns or fighting or punching or War, or you want to talk War Philosophy for some reason, he is your guy.

DESIRED CR: HEY GANG work is exploding so I didn't get to do the tagging out I wanted to do in April. I'm hoping to rectify that this month, so if you hit me up for CR last month and I wasn't able to hit you up, YOU'RE ON MY LIST.

Mostly I want everything, but as I expect a lot of his initial encounters to be on the slightly antagonistic side (he’s grumpy), I’d love to try and seek out people he might get along with or tolerate, too. He’s a hardcore military-type and will probably do well with other hardcore military-types, mercenaries, or fellow professionals, if only because they might *~*~*understand each other*~*~*. Most neutral encounters will probably be awkward because he’s awkward, mitigated by the fact that fighting wars is kind of what he Knows and he'll be a little more willing to impart his knowledge. He's doing a little better with opening up nowadays. Maybe he has??? Friends????? I want him to have more friends so he can continue to not know what to do with them.

GAME GOALS: Same stuff as before; connect with human history because she's kind of part alien, and explore her conflicting feelings about working in military operations. She joined COST willingly and is going to try very hard to not regret it.

PLOT PLANS:
- Samus has been managing surprisingly fine in spiderland despite having a huge distaste for everything. She is genetically augmented so if you need a bodygaurd or escort or something of that sort she's your gal.
- She said hi to Queen Thsh and got a disembodied finger out of it, gross. What the hell is she supposed to do with this.
- She'll be participating in the stadium and will (begrudgingly) enjoy watching the fights. She hates the idea of fighting as a spectacle but she can't say she doesn't enjoy seeing the spectacle of a good battle. In the case of battling for the sake of battling she prefers to do things alone but if someone wants a battle buddy she'd step in the ring and lend a hand.
- I also signed her up for RNG because I like to live dangerously. She'll probably die so most of my plans for the rest of the month are going to be tentative. I'M HERE TO BACKTAG ALL THE THINGS THOUGH.

DESIRED CR: ALL KINDS, but I especially enjoy slow-build relationships because Samus needs time and patience before she opens up. I also really love banter and sassing and flustering and head-butting type relations that eventually grow to begrudging acceptance or even friendship or more. She appreciates a dry sense of humor, enjoys booze and guns and working on mechanical projects. She also has a lot of outdoors survival kinds of experience and has a strong respect for animals and wildlife... if they are not trying to kill her first.

She tends to get along easier with other super soldier/mercenary/bounty hunter/not-exactly-human types and she also does a lot of training in her spare time. I also love mentor-student type relationships because Samus has a lot to teach but is terrible at teaching it. I also love parent-child relationships, Samus is surprisingly much more natural with those. Negative CR is great and I love it, though it may take extra effort to maintain with Samus since she's inclined to ignore or disengage antagonistic types unless they prove actually threatening or manage to get under her skin in the wrong way.

GAME GOALS: long-term, she has healing from trauma & character development to do that she didn't get to while she was sitting around in prison even if it was better than her first prison. girl's got bad coping mechanisms still and she remains very scared of opening up, which won't change until people start getting her backstory out of her & she realises they're not going to toss her aside because of it. short-term, she wants a garden! when they get back to BASE she very much just wants to get stuck into some gardening things.

PLOT PLANS: right now, she is:

- lording her high status over everyone and building a reputation for her fakey fake fake persona as much as possible
- she's going to the house khah party as siegfried's +1 where she will hang off his arm and ojousama laugh at everything
- she was always going to take part in the combat arena but now i guess she & ryuji are using it as a get rich quick scheme so that's fun
- she's going to be something of a mess after the arena because it will put her RIGHT back in the worst days of her entire life and she'll regress to the person she used to pretend to be, so she'll come out of it all shaky and manic if anyone wants to see the Trauma side of her

DESIRED CR: she mostly does well with stubborn characters, whether they're kind or they're assholes, because she's pretty abrasive from the environment that shaped her and if you take her too seriously & tell her off for the shit she says, she'll get genuinely annoyed fast. REALLY just friends of any sort are good for her atm. morbid shit-talking jerks remind her of home in a good way, and kindness is very new for her, so either of them work.

CANON: Until A Loli Almost Kills You-- no, it's Until Death Do Us Part, guys.

GAME GOALS: He's here to kick some Regency ass and get back to where he left off back home because his whole life is fighting guys. Actual 30 yo virgin or monk, or something. He's someone who considers himself a criminal and having not much use in life except as a weapon so it would be great to have him figure things about himself through the ~*+~*+~+*~strife that is war and friendship~+*~+*~*+~ (Christ.) To do this, I would love to get him out of his comfort zone even outside the "battlefield". Learning who he is besides being a blade. That kind of shenanigan.

PLOT PLANS: HE IS SO GLAD THEY OPENED UP THE STADIUM. He is adaptable, but his use in this mission is very limited - he tends to leave the intricacies of plotting, scheming and backstabbing and playing with politics to others like Wiseman, if it doesn't directly relate to his own goal of BEING THE VERY BEST (sit down, Ash Ketchum). Because of this, I think he would be a good candidate to be a +1 for anyone heading out to House Jenkah to gossip and generally be a slightly intimidating bodyguard.
Other than that, he may die in the Stadium. Maybe. Who knows. If anyone wants to deal with that, go for it. Would love to work around it. Also, hey here's a top level.
So if anyone wants a blind, natural, non-powered douchebag to 'kukuku' at your character, this guy is your guy.

DESIRED CR: Mandatory ANYTHING goes here.

- Varied array would be perfect, so I am really up for anything. He has been doing a lot of the fighty stuff but would love for him to get some sort of actual connection here with someone.
- From the domestic, to the silly, to the negative, to the outraged. I really wasn't kidding about
- He has a very well hidden protective streak, so if your character needs some sort of protection, this guy can probably help with that and it would be a step out of his usual self-serving ways.
- Having people finding out about his past would also be cool, I guess! Before his life went to total shit, he was an actual assistant instructor and on his way to inheriting a very famous dojo back in Japan; how he lost his sight; why does he know so much about firearms even though he's a sword nerd; ETC.
- Judge him and call him out for his life and his choices. He has a weird grasp on morality that goes from the anachronistic to the utterly ????? (for instance, if he knows there's a probability is 0.1% of success, he'll go for it even if it kills him) . OR if you want your character to be judged for their lack of reasonable decisions because he's kind of a hypocrite.
- Let's discuss fight mentalities, warfare, how people have purpose, all those crazy philosophical shenanigans.
- Also someone feed him something nice.
- OH. If you really want to see him squirm? Be kind to him. He doesn't know what to do with Jeyne lately, for one, he's like "how do I person".

PLOT PLANS: Genji will be investigating House Shaiy to try and learn more about them and their goals, and I'll likely toss him at the arena for one of this high risk fights, so what happens after that depends on RNG! He's doing his best to play by the rules and make sure he and anyone he's friendly with doesn't get eaten...

- Friends, whether those who he can meditate with and talk philosophy with, or those he can get into trouble with.
- Robots/androids/anyone artificial, as he tends to relate to them pretty well.

GAME GOALS: Did you know that Cheris hails from a society that is basically the Regency, mirrored? That being so, her entire currently purpose is to utterly eradicate the Regency, or at least cripple them and somehow hail her hexarchate overlords to scrub history clean of those who are Literally Heretics according to her society's rules. Anyways. She's trying to eek out some space where she can establish a hexarchate-approved calendar so that she can perform her formations ( geometric magics YEET ), but it's slow going because she's not trained to moderate doctrine. Her personal goals are literally to live, because she has the hexarchate's best weapon ( the ghost attached to her brain ) in tow, and his value > hers.

PLOT PLANS: I guess??? Cheris is currently making attempts at winning over House Khah's matron, in the hopes that Khah's military strength can be used to keep the Regency operatives in check and you know, fulfill the mission -- she's very focused on playing a long game that will protect COST's interests on Jhashch for now and for a very, very long time. She's currently attending court, which is kind of where she belongs and kind of not, so please save her from herself as she struggles to play diplomat when really she's a boring military gal and her ghostly buddy cop is a former assassin. I'll have a toplevel eventually???

DESIRED CR: She has a difficult time relating to individualists and independent thinkers, which is basically everyone in COST. Meaning come at her, and watch her grow increasingly more terse and offended. Dig into her attitude, and find that she comes from a society that parallels the Regency, alarmingly? enough. She's a very compassionate woman, despite this, and cares deeply for the rest of her team -- so dig on in, and win yourself a very loyal, albeit fanatically-devoted-to-her-world companion.

Let me attach her to you, you will won't! regret the association.

She might be riding on the coattails of her ghostly companion's status, but she is a general who is super passionate about math, battle tactics and strategies, and other related topics. She's always willing to lend advice to others, but also - strangely, is seeking alternative knowledge. And speaking of her companion, he can't talk to characters, but he can definitely overhear and witness e v e r y t h i n g. Sorry for her creepy shadow, it literally has eyes. You can call her/him out, it's cool.

GAME GOALS: I'm eager to explore Jeyne as a character and how adversity and combat will help her grow into a stronger and more independent person. She's been screwed over by her family and lost her husband. For her to face warfare on her own and actually learn to fight will help her shift away from being naive and afraid. I'm still building her CR, but she's going to be able to move forward and start exploring different plots and missions with more confidence.

Most importantly Chiron would like to focus a bit more on the Spider Prince! He's noticed that the Prince is kind of into the video games, and is curious about where he really stands within his family. It seems like a potential way to fight against Regency and the Princess.

That's a pretty big learning curve for someone who is used to and prefers working on his own. I do have more long term stuff I wanna do but that's... wayyyy in the future.

Also this is kind of a dumb thing but his bday is on May 10. The characters don't know what day it is (esp now with the 2:1 ratio) but I'd like to do something. Maybe he gets a hunch that something significant is coming up and asks your char if they can feel it too? IDK, just spitballing. Spoilers: He doesn't celebrate his bday for Tragic Backstory reasons.

PLOT PLANS: John is going to be at the House Jankeh party and is currently half stumbling half wheeling and dealing to victory in the arenas. Spiders aren't exempt from getting conned! I plan to set up logs for both of these things kind of leading into and dealing with the fallout of the results.

(Cliff notes version of what he's been up to: He won some art at an auction and in it was the severed leg of one if the Araneans. After the auction one of the spiders approached and told him to give it to her and he basically told her to piss off. She did but she left angry and hissing. He took the art to a party to show it off and the spiders took him carrying around the leg as a threat and wanted to know if he was threatening them (Jankeh) or the house that the auction spider was from (Khah). He said he was threatening Khah and conjured a fireball and said that if anyone was from Khah he'd roast them. Jankeh liked that and sponsored him for the arena and gave me a weapon and now he's here and not 100% sure how this happened and so quickly!!!)

So basically if anyone wants to deal with that mess or even just wants to yell at ya boy for making monumentally stupid and reckless decisions I am here for it! Is your character doing the brag party or arena thing? Maybe they can compare notes or horror stories!

Additional note of a potential plot afoot: John is... really collecting a bunch of body parts here in Spiderville. If your character has any they want to get off your hands def hit me up and we can make that happen!

PLOT PLANS: WELL WELL WELL. While COST has told the operatives that they should be loyal to the Queen, Hux is decidedly not interested int that. It has less to do with his Regency plans, and more to do with not wanting to kowtow to anyone that reminds him of his father.

Without meaning to, at first, he's now planning on throwing his support towards Princess CHCH. He has a necklace from her which he feels very flattered over, which he is strategically showing off, to gain attention/support for his cause. He's human, but he's playing his politics/diplomacy skills for all they are worth.

Also, due to a very lucky RNG roll, Hux did well enough in his Court competition, that he will be setting up a salon or two (one I want to hold ICly if ppl are interested instead of handwaving), to curry favor/discuss Aranean subjects/spy.

In any case, I will be topleveling once I know what's up and would love to do stuff!

Depending on the above, he'll either be participating at court—in which case he could reaaaaaally use a partner, preferably someone who's flashy and aggressive, since his skills are more in the line of obsessively remembering details—or playing video games. He doesn't want to play video games, they're boring :( Save him with weird conspiracy theories :(

Overall, he's more interested in delving into the conflict between COST and the Regency (and the role Ymir plays in it) than spider politicking. He was trolled by spoke to Mary Smythe and would really like to know wtf her deal is (he doesn't actually want her dead ahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaa); likewise he'd be into investigating the shabti.
