The plot currently happening is taking place in the turbulence of revolutionary Paris. Now that you're all here, we're going to start doing 'update' posts giving you an idea of what's going in in Paris, that your characters can react to with logs and network posts. We'll also have some plotting options going up today.

NAME: Yoshitsugu Ōtani
CANON: Samurai Warriors 4

GAME GOALS:
Utilising his military talents and frankly excellent strategic abilities in a game is something I've always wanted to do, and here, I can and have, which has been awesome. It's also a place to test his philosophies regarding 'the flow of things' and how one should live.

On the lighter side I want him to collect ghost stories from everyone and everywhere they visit.

PLOT PLANS:
This month Yoshitsugu's going to work on getting to know everyone, for mostly practical reasons but if any good bonds start to form/get stronger because of that, so be it! He'll ~go with the flow~. He's already grown quite fond of Ryuji, thinks Siegfried is cute and has noted several of you as being rather useful and talented beings. Getting a roommate is going to be fun, I hope you enjoy the horrors of sharing space with him and the fact his not!husband Takatora will be visiting on the daily.

As it's a relaxed month I am not going to plot too heavily but I do intend to attack some inboxes and, oh, what's this? Tarnhauser's Book Of Petty Magyks, an XP bought item, has ten one-use spells within and I am eager to get someone for him to test on. If you'd like your character inspired to write a poem, do let me know.

DESIRED CR:
Yoshitsugu will be very interested in other people with magic powers and the diverse types of power across their unit, perhaps hoping to learn some more spells himself (despite only having a year of life left when he goes back home and knowing it AHA) but at the very least just getting some sweet sweet knowledge. As a strategist it's also useful just to get to know what all of you can do so he can plot things for future battles more effectively, which is a good excuse for... all the CR!

He does love to tease people he considers 'pure' and has a dark sense of humour at times so anyone who will react to either of those things, come on over! It's fun to see others blush, but just as fun to bounce off people who actually get Yoshitsugu's frequently dumb jokes about ghosts, hauntings and curses.

yoshitsugu is so much fun to play against. he's everything ryuji's not, so i'm excited to keep going with the thread we have right now, and then hopefully one of us will put up an open post for december to tag into so that they can chill even further. he's going to need someone to complain about the protein blocks to :)

Of course! I took a look at your app and there's certainly a few points there that should intrigue Yoshitsugu. (He'd find it hilarious to be thought of as innocent if that judging thing ever happens though, let me tell you).

The hat is lovely! But just. Why though. That stageplay hat is fantastic. It literally has a golden bullseye on it.

It's great, have you seen Japanese helmets of his era? His hat has nothing on those. Seriously, my personal favourite is the guy whose helmet just had the giant kanji for 'love' on it.

Symphogear alchemy is Basically Magic! And Prelati's read enough books that she could probably give Yoshitsugu some suggestions for what to take from the library. She also loves teasing people and is a fairly dark person in general, so they'd probably get along well.

Yoshitsugu sounds perfect if you're up for an awkward magic user to tease. I feel like Keyleth might be very enamored of / confused by him, and she'd for sure be willing to guinea pig experimental magic with him. It's practically a hobby of hers!

YES mishaps are my jam big time -- she canonly forgets that she shouldn't shapeshift back to her usual form when she's perched on someone's shoulder as a crow so i think i can offer you TONS of fodder
