The plot currently happening is taking place in the turbulence of revolutionary Paris. Now that you're all here, we're going to start doing 'update' posts giving you an idea of what's going in in Paris, that your characters can react to with logs and network posts. We'll also have some plotting options going up today.

GAME GOALS:
Find friends, stop fighting every damn thing because she's set in her ways and thinks she's right, maybe eventually building a circle of people she trusts and can turn to (kind of like her own little queensguard but not that formal), and an EVENTUAL SKILL she might be able to use in battle, like learning archery or a spell (even though she doesn't like the magics). But lbr, she doesn't have dragons, so she needs to make the fire herself and burn some mofos to the ground.

PLOT PLANS:
Dany is going to realize that Drogo's gone once they return back to base. Aside from that and wanting to know who her roomie is, I don't have too many plans yet. She's going to be feeling pretty low based on the events so far in France.

DESIRED CR:
- Positive - SHE NEEDS FRIENDS
- Negative - be it a rival, someone who just annoys her, etc
- Push past her past her comfort zone, either through different world views or questioning her thought processes for things
- Force her to begin to appreciate magic and not view it as this black and white evil thing

We should definitely follow through on some of the plans we've talked about: possibly discussing the current state of Drogo, definitely attempting High Valyrian lessons, possibly more attempted training time. They can also talk about Jon's chest situation if they don't do it in the current thread... there are a lot of different places where it could come up, or it could wait for a later month.

Lots and lots of showing up at each other's rooms like teenagers too, smh.

I agree, we have a lot to do! She would definitely be turning to him once she realized Drogo was gone, so as long as you're fine with threading that out, I'm game! (Can also handwave, since I know those disappearance threads can be a bit of a slog for the person not affected.) But there would be consequences and it would likely fracture any beginnings of trust toward COST as a result.

High Valyrian lessons for sure, we can mix that into one of the many times they're showing up at each other's rooms like horny teens. Yes to training time!

And she will definitely be approaching him about his chest if it's not brought up in current thread. Gotta see how that goes, but I'm imagining it will be a topic of discussion later. Really depends on the timing, I think, and where they are mentally when they're on the base. It could be something that she mulls over for a bit and we tackle another month if we need to c:

Hey there, roomie! Prelati here is - well, annoying, very eager to question what pretty much any normal person would see as 'right,' is also questioning herself, and is an alchemist, which is basically one notch away from magic. She's a villain in canon, of the 'ends justify the means' type, so they're definitely going to be pushing into each others' comfort zones. Prelati's eager to see other perspectives but has a nasty habit of insulting said perspectives.

If they get on well enough (somehow) Prelati could even teach her some very basic alchemy, though she probably couldn't teach her anything with much practical use for fighting. Unless Daenerys is willing to study for a few decades.

Heyya roomie!! Gosh, there's going to be some tension in the beginning, I imagine. But Dany has definitely warmed up to people eventually, and she can see Prelati's POV in certain scenarios when it comes to that mentality. I don't think she would discriminate against a villain for the sake of them being a villain, it just depends on what Prelati does, mostly (sorry I'm not canon familiar!).

Basic alchemy would be AWESOME! I feel like that would be something Dany would take an interest in :> She can play peacekeeper if Prelati causes trouble with the others and it comes back to their room. She's also kind of involved with Jon Snow, so he'll be around their rooms every now and then as well, just an FYI!

No problem! Symphogear's pretty obscure in the west, the season Prelati's from hasn't even been licensed for distribution outside of Japan. I'm expecting pretty much the entire game to be canonblind.

Prelati's got pretty sympathetic motivations - end injustice, help people communicate with each other, spread knowledge - but those motivations are mostly secondhand, and she isn't as fully committed to them as she probably should be. And she's definitely willing to kill for them, hence the whole morality issues. She's helped ignite small-scale conflicts just because human souls are useful to her research and alchemy, that kind of thing. She's fairly open about her actions, but she's not very apologetic, even if she's realizing she might have been going about things wrong. She's not likely to do anything that villainous in-game, though. Outside of being a jerk.

And excellent! Prelati's no teacher, but she was taught by someone who was a great one, so she can probably try and ape that. Just with more snark. And, uh, a peacekeeper would definitely be nice if she winds up angering one of the more impulsive types. She'd even give Daenerys credit if she managed to talk someone down.

Also, Jon's already replied to me! She'll be teasing him - and probably Daenerys, for 'constantly' having him around - but won't do anything too bad. Friend of roomie privileges, for starters.

So basically what you're saying is that these two are going to have a love-hate relationship, and will probably teeter back and forth a lot, since it sounds like they have similar motivations at times. Excellent. She will be (un)happily exasperated. I'm so pumped for this CR.

If Dany manages to talk someone down, Prelati better get a drink after lmao. But she'll do her best! No matter how much of a jerk she can be, she's Dany's roomie and jerk, and nobody better bring that crap to her bedroom >8[

Love-hate relationship sounds wonderful! I'm super pumped for this CR too, Prelati definitely has some teasing to get out of her system.

And good. Please get flustered. All her targets in canon are either impossible to embarrass or trying to punch her in the face, it'll be nice for her to have someone she can actually tease. She'll warm up to Daenerys some too, over time. A real Christmas miracle.
