The plot currently happening is taking place in the turbulence of revolutionary Paris. Now that you're all here, we're going to start doing 'update' posts giving you an idea of what's going in in Paris, that your characters can react to with logs and network posts. We'll also have some plotting options going up today.

TAGGING HABITS: I'm usually a fast tagger when I'm on, though my schedule can be pretty erratic. I'm in EST.

CHARACTER;

GAME GOALS: Fucking with people, character development, the true spirit of COSTmas making her heart grow three sizes. Prelati's a villain in canon who did a heroic sacrifice like five seconds before the 'sacrifice' part of that kicked in, so I'd like to actually develop her into more of a decent person. Relatively speaking.

PLOT PLANS: She will develop a plan to contain the crows. Also, messing with her roommate. Also, lots of library research, probably at all hours of the day. Her roommate might not actually see her sleeping that much. Or at all.

DESIRED CR:

1) Heroic types for her to tease.
2) Denser people for her to tease.

For real though, I'm up for all types of CR - Prelati's in kind of an inbetween phase when it comes to being a villain versus being a... well, not exactly a hero, but a less bad person. So she bounces well off most types of characters, since she's a little interested in expanding her horizons at the moment. Just expect her to be snide. She's grumpy, old (in spirit), well-read, and likes feeling like she knows more than the person she's talking to. So, uh, antagonistic CR is fairly likely, but she's more just condescending than outright insulting, so she could actually take up a mentor/teacher type role pretty well. Considering how Saint-Germain was her teacher in canon, that'd honestly be an interesting development. So if anyone wants life lessons with a murderer, HMU.

I also like pretty much anything that involves debating morality. Prelati is very much against anything that involves one person having something over another person, but she's a little shakier on the whole 'killing people' thing, so obviously she'd clash with a lot of people on the subject. But she is actually questioning things, despite how stubborn she can be, so a good debate could lead to some actual development on her part.

Bucky is here to fulfill the teasing duty though idk if he counts as a heroic type... He’s also always ready to have long discussions about morality and philosophy though, fwiw

Prelati's a little complicated right now, so anti-heroic/complicated past types are definitely on the table, mostly because Prelati's sliding into that role and wants to mock the idea before she gets there. Also she will actively borrow a book on philosophy from the library and toss it at him if they have enough debates.

And she'll find some obscure philosopher to lord over him. Him actually being well-read would catch her on the backfoot, though, so them actually chatting literature and philosophy and stuff could legit be fun once she realizes what kind of person she's dealing with. She'd definitely give him some respect after a chat like that.

Her favorite argument buddy in canon is ALSO horny on main, so that's an extra bonus. She can and will kinkshame, and has it down to an art. (she will also probably make heel jokes)

Prelati will probably be seeing a lot of Jon, thanks to roommate assignments, and she may wind up deciding he's more fun to hassle than her actual roommate is. He's heroic and can therefore be teased, but is also up for those debates about morality, which may even result in him giving a rousing speech.

If Jon gives her a heroic speech - she'll be torn between amusement and trying to find some way to lock him out of her and Daenerys' capsule. So basically, please do. Considering he's also had a pretty rough time of it, she'd also be willing to take him more seriously than some heroic-types, assuming she ever learns of his experiences. Could be fun!

A teenager who's part of a weird gang of heroes is literally exactly the kind of person she wants to tease. Call it therapy. Them forging some weird teacherly relationship could be fun too - Prelati does like showing off how smart she is. Though of course that'd require Ryuji actually being willing to learn.

ryuji's rather masochistic when it comes to teasing, but generally speaking he thinks it's a sign of friendship, so i think he'll enjoy it either way. even if he won't, I SURE AS HELL WILL. so please, come at him. don't expect much out of him though, in the way of retaining any of those knowledge bombs.
