The plot currently happening is taking place in the turbulence of revolutionary Paris. Now that you're all here, we're going to start doing 'update' posts giving you an idea of what's going in in Paris, that your characters can react to with logs and network posts. We'll also have some plotting options going up today.

We're going to base next, complete with the library, so he could easily just search around for a book with her name in it? If he was interested enough, anyway. It wouldn't really feel godmoddy in that context, and them actually talking about her past would be super interesting, especially since Prelati's 'guilt' about back then is pretty... complicated? She doesn't like what she did but she's more ashamed of it because of how petty and pathetic she was, versus anything to do with feeling bad for the pain she caused.

That works for me. And I think that the conversation that would follow is something I 200% want to thread out, it sounds absolutely fascinating. Especially in light of Fate/ canon's Giles.
