The plot currently happening is taking place in the turbulence of revolutionary Paris. Now that you're all here, we're going to start doing 'update' posts giving you an idea of what's going in in Paris, that your characters can react to with logs and network posts. We'll also have some plotting options going up today.

GAME GOALS: Sweeney doesn't want to be around, he doesn't give a fuck, and they're time traveling to periods he's already had to live through and it's not like he enjoyed them that much in the first place. But he's here and it would be kind of nice if you guys super believed in him. Like, super believed in him a lot. And maybe sacrifice some people in his name. He kinda could use the pick me up.

PLOT PLANS: Drink, smoke whatever the locals are smoking, fuck up shit, actually fuck, and if he has time maybe make sure time doesn't get too out of whack. Long term, it would be cool for people to get to know him I guess and try to curb his bad habits.

So I absolutely LOVE the thread that we've had and I want to keep going with it. The themes from American Gods compliment Fate/ nonsense really well, and I have been laughing madly when I've had tags in my inbox from you.

I'm an off and on fan of Fate and you're absolutely right. There's a lot of similarities, but the differences will be what makes it really fun. I'm not sure if Sweeney will consider the existence of a heroic spirit to be any better than that of a forgotten deity. But I'm game to keep the thread going!

I think the trade offs would equal out, in the end. I am also, admittedly, now giving an awful lot of thoughts about what the hell an American Gods version of Chiron's myth would be doing.
